Our Junior Athlete Development Program (JADP) is the complete solution to your child reaching their ultimate potential.

We help any emerging athlete wanting to improve their athleticism, play with confidence and lay solid movement foundations.

We are the only complete youth athletic training solution available in Eastern Melbourne.

01. Design Your Child's Unique Performance Plan™

If you aren’t assessing, you’re guessing… and we don’t believe that any athlete should be relying on guesswork. Every junior athlete that starts working with us receives their own unique Performance Plan™ - a detailed strategy that clearly outlines how to develop their strength, power and speed to improve  overall athleticism. Your child's Performance Plan™ is based on the results of their testing, so it is completely unique to them and their body. During the testing, we will help yourr child:

  • Pinpoint the weaknesses that are holding them back and bulletproof their body from injury.
  • Identify the blind spots in your child's performance and discover how to turn them into opportunities that will enhance their sports performance.
  • Reveal the strengths that make your child a talented athlete
  • By the end of the testing experience, we’ll know how to help your child bulletproof their body from injury, and set the foundations for a strong athletic base as they grow. 
02. Program Design And Onboarding Sessions

Using the data from your child's Performance Plan™, they will have a program written by our expert coaches that is 100% specific and tailored to them and their schedule.

All their strength and power training, fitness and conditioning, and sprint mechanics will be customised based on what they need to maximise their potential for their sport.

Once written, your child will move into two 1:1 sessions with their performance coach - we call these our onboarding sessions.

These sessions will step them through their program so they are totally comfortable and confident in all the movements before joining the JADP semi-private sessions.

Once these onboarding sessions are completed, it’s time to get to work.

03. Sports Nutrition Consultation

It’s so important to instil positive eating habits early in life, which is why the third onboarding session takes the form of a consultation with our Sports Dietitian, Alexandra.

Your child will learn about what they should be eating for their body, sport and goal. Alexandra will also give some handy tools on how to appropriately fuel an active teenager!

During your consultation, you and your child will learn:

  • Exactly what they should be eating for their body, sport and goal.
  • Critical tools around how to eat for optimal recovery, so they can be as fresh as possible for every training session and game day. 
  • How to fuel their body optimally pre and post-game, so they can always maintain their energy levels - reducing the risk of fatigue or burning out. 
04. Train At Kinetic

Your child is now ready to begin training in our JADP sessions. Surrounded by a group of like-minded, junior athletes and being guided by an expert coach is what your child can expect once they start their training. Every 6 weeks your child will be re-tested, and based on the results of the re-test, will have their program assessed and updated.

You’re now ready to begin training in our ADP sessions. If ever your kid gets a niggle or needs extra maintenance during intense competition periods, all our athletes get supported with discounted Sports Physiotherapy. In most cases, standard private health care allowances will cover all the costs - meaning there is no gap for you to pay.

There is $149 payable prior to commencing the JADP. This includes your child's two 1:1 onboarding sessions with their performance coach.

In order to see genuine improvements, your child needs to invest time and effort into their training. For this reason, we operate in 6 month commitment blocks. There is no pay as you go/casual option available.

We require two weeks written notice for any suspensions.

Unlimited. Your program will dictate how many sessions per week your child will need to complete, depending on their schedule.

Yes. Every program is 100% tailored to your child, their goals and their schedule.

Yes. Your child's program will involve specific speed and agility work.

Yes. Every 12 weeks your child will complete a Performance Test to measure their improvements. Their program will then be adjusted accordingly.

Our Junior ADP takes any athletes from ages of 12 onwards, however if you are younger we are happy to assess your application on a case by case basis.
